Celestial Seasonings

Well, everyone is talking about what a complete rock bottom year 2016 was. Personally, it was a great year, but my contributions to the blog world? Not so much. Lots of work, being old and generally always tired, have all contributed to my nearly non-existent nail creations. So, from the vault, I present Emily de Molly Celestial Bodies.

I saw this pretty on Pinterest years ago when it first came out and knew she must be mine. This is two coats stamped with Color Club Eternal Beauty form plate SB020. It felt "New Year'sy" to me. One of my goals for the year is to kick up my mani inspiration and jump back into the beautiful land of polish!

Wishing you all a fantastic 2017! <3 p="">

Diamond in the Rough

So. I call this manicure a totally epic chrome powder fail. My first two nails came out wonderful and I was impressed by all the shiny goodness. Then topcoat. Oops. The more I tried to recreate the successful nail, the more glitter powder surrounded my entire being.

There was seriously powder everywhere but my nails. Silver lining? I still think the final product is New Year's Day worthy.

One coat Sinful Black on Black stamped with China Glaze I'd Melt for You with decals created with the same polishes. I needed some holo sparkle to ring in the year and sponged KB Shimmer Ice Queen on top of I'd Melt for You.

Have a safe and relaxing day all!

Swear I'm Alive - Horse Power

Wow. I plain suck at this blogging thing in 2016. I went through my camera and found a few manis I don't even remember doing! Figured I'd start with my beloved Denver Broncos dedications.Every week that I had a festive manicure in orange and blue, my guys made it past the rivals on the scoreboard so I couldn't not show them my full support.
Some of you may know, some of you may not care, but my boys took home gold, in the form of the Vince Lombardi Trophy and that bowl of super ring!
The first was against our arch nemesis, the Puke-iots (Patriots). I'm honestly having the hardest time remembering what polishes were used. I believe the blue is Orly (possibly On the Edge), I know the middle finger is Essie On a Silver Platter. Pretty sure the orange is ILNP Atomic Sherbert.
The second is a complete mani using the polishes from Llarowe's Superbowl collection. United in Orange, a neon orange cream, Thunder Shake is a linear holo Royal Blue. Pretty sure this is just a relabel from the 2014 collection, named Bronco Blue as that's the same in my collection. The gold was a special edition, SB 50. 18 is for the great Peyton Manning and 50 for the actual anniversary. Bundle Monster, MoYou and Konad plates were used.

Can't wait to get back in the swing of things!

Blue and Orange Snowflakes

I'm behind. So weird I know. So I figured I'd do a Denver Bronco mani for the Bengals game. It was one that made me sweat for sure! Orly Milky Way was the ideal base for this with it's blue and orange glitter.

After two coats, I stamped with CBL Bronco Blue and snowflakes from Bunny Nails HE-F plate.
Accent nail is two coats of Avon Saturn stamped with Sinful Snow Me White from the same plate then Bronco Blue. It did the trick and we made it to the playoffs!
