GlamGlaze Confetti Cupcake

When browsing the GlamGlaze polish site, Confetti Cupcake was the polish that made me make the order. The stars are adorable and the neon floating in a milky white jelly base is something I needed to add to the stash. This is three coats. The polish came out generously.

I couldn't avoid the bubbling which makes me sad but the colors were great and it didn't happen on every finger. I stamped with MoYou Biker 08 with Sally Hansen Blue Me Away!
It was the perfect blue to match the stars in the polish.

IG Collab ~ Pastel Rainbow

I scrolled by a call for an Instagram Collab from Nails Like Like and Peace, Love & Polish and decided to jump in. The theme: pastel rainbow. Well that's just fun at it's core. Orly Pretty Ugly is a gorge blue shimmer that I thought would make for a nice baby blue sky. I used two coats as a base.

I then created a stamping decal with the rainbow and star design from plate mls301. I stamped with China Glaze Virtual Violet. I then filled with China Glaze Tart-y for the Party, Keep Calm, Paint On and Dance Baby. The clouds were filled in with Snow Me White.

I created a gradient with Pretty Ugly and all the China Glazes then finished with heart rhinestones from Born Pretty Store.

Look with Lime Crime Aries Zodiac Glitter

I've been a follower of Concrete and Nail Polish for years. She always such fun nail looks. She often does giveaways and I was the lucky winner of three Zodiac Glitters. I don't own any Lime Crime products and pretty much would pee glitter if that were an option :).

I did a look with Aries. The staying power was great with a primer and my NYX body glitter gel. It was much more vibrant and sparkly than the pictures captured.
Sorry for the bloodshot eyes, my contacts aren't my friend =/. Make sure to check out April's blog and you may be one of the lucky winners of her many giveaways.

Essence Iced Strawberry

After being so into nail art, sometimes it's hard for me to just go with a plain color. But we all need something really simple and understated once in awhile.
This is two coats of Essence Iced Strawberry (the name just makes me happy). This cream pink has a beige shimmer and is more of a frost finish. I'm often not a fan of the frost but liked how this turned out.
It chipped after two days but I was washing my hands a ton. A nice polish for an interview or for those non nail art friendly work places.

GlamGlaze Pink to Mint thermal errr Gray to Gray Thermal

Afternoon! I can't believe it's been a week since I have posted. That pesky life getting in the way and all. Happy Friday Eve. Recently, I made a purchase of some GlamGlaze polishes. What really prompted this buy was seeing a photo of a custom pink to mint thermal holo on the site. Upon getting the polish and seeing that it was indeed the name, pink to mint thermal holo, thought everything to be pretty straight forward.
When I used two quick coats over some stamping I had done with Sephora Hello Kitty Minty and the triangles from BundleMonster plate 423, there was nothing going on like I had anticipated. There was definitely no pink, and not even really mint. Overall the polish is pretty much just gray. Even from hot water to cold water - gray.
After going to GlamGlaze on Instagram, I saw a swatch of the same polish that looked nothing like mine, it was gray with at least a hint of mint and an itty bitty sliver of pink at the bottom. I then went back to the site to find the photo of the polish I was under the impression I had ordered, this photo and polish seem to be no more.
I was a bit confused and wanted to reach out to see if maybe I had a bad batch? When I emailed to inquire what the deal was I literally got a "LOL, I forgot you got that polish - it turned out that way for everyone - that's why I'm no longer selling it." It seems a new polish took it's place, which can be found here. The replacement is a teal to pastel pink so it seems sans any mintyness. I guess I was just surprised that it was kind of "oh well" reaction overall and no offer or discount for a replacement.

After running the polish under very hot water

Rather than the happy spring polish I thought I was adding to my stash - the gray/gray holo will more than likely be pushed back to go with my fall and winter wardrobe.
