Many of you have probably heard by now that SallyBeauty has redone their entire Finger Paints Line. Launched in Jan 2014, the line has over 90 "stylishly saturated shades" that range from glitters, metallics, shimmers, toppings and even soak-off gel formulas. The newly formulated collection is meant to provide exceptional wear and resist fading. Designed by nail techs, they were created 3-free for richly pigmented for intense shades and high shine, the pro brush was created to allow flawless, one coat coverage.
Art you Wondering? I wasn't sure how opaque this glitter was going to be as it appeared fine in the bottle. I tested it on a piece of paper and decided with some thick coats, it should cover the nail just fine so opted for no base coat. The below is two thick coats which seemed to cover very nicely. This baby really glowed, especially in direct sunlight

Go Baroque - First off, what a clever name! This gold shimmer is chalked full of pink and gold hex glitter. It really had a brilliance on the nail and was not as goopy as I thought it would be when looking at the bottle. This is two coats.

Colorful Collage - I wasn't quite sure what base color to put this on top of and then thought Duh! Barbie friggin' hot pink or two coats of Color Club Flamingo and one coat of Colorful Collage. Um yes, I will be using this little combo in the near future. While there are a lot of large, hex toppers out there, this is still a great choice to add to their collection. Never. Enough. Holo. Glitters.

Where Art Renoir? - This is a black jelly a generous amount of silver glitter. It covered by nicely in two coats. A girlier way to achieve that vamp look.

The brush was a bit interesting, slightly angled, I was worried as I have small nails and these "one coat" brushes aren't always kind to me, but it did find I had no trouble and was able to get a lot of product on the brush itself for full coverage.. Each formula went on nicely with a good dry time. None required more than two coats and were very opaque which seems to match the initial selling points of the line.
I'm also impressed with the range, finishes and colors, also the fact that you can pick up the entire collection when you are in Sally's as compared to waiting for single collections to come out. Each retails for $5.29 and is available at SallyBeauty and SallyBeauty.com. While the release says March, I already spotted the display at my local store and thought they did a nice job.
Have you picked up any of the new polishes? What do you think?
