Extra Relaxed Challenge ~ Yellow and Puppy Love

Hi kids! While I have been participating in this extra relaxed challenge, I can say the last few days have been anything but relaxed. As you may know I have two lab retrievers. One is an angel, the other, while the sweetest cuddle baby in the whole world, but is pretty much a terror covered in yellow fur. He is way too smart and resourceful for his own good (even the Vet confirms this).

Needless to say he puts anything and everything in his mouth and swallows it whole before I even know it's missing. This can be toys, socks, panties, shirts, Velcro, carpet, walls, furniture, ipads, iphones you name it - he's tried to chomp it. We've been lucky to have it come out or up safely thus far - until last Saturday. This little pooper somehow found a bath towel and ate half of it.

He was puking all night Friday and Saturday morning giving me pouty faces and not eating. At the time I didn't know he had gotten a hold of anything. When he didn't eat or take treats I knew it was time to take him in. Within a few minutes and an x-ray they had to operate. Poor buddy got sliced in two spots and had to spend the night.

$1,500 later he is home and resting. It's going to be a long healing process since he is so hard to keep still but I'm so happy he is alright thanks to my amazing vet team! I did my yellow mani in his honor, two coats of Essence Wanna be Your Sunshine. This is a bright yellow shimmer. I then stamped with China Glaze Mahogany Magic with plates BM306 and 323.
