As I'm sure all of you are aware, if something isn't in style - wait longer. All things make their way back around. It may not be in our lifetime but it will happen. Last year this time, fair isle and Nordic print were all the rage and they've only gotten more popular. My original fair isle mani got a little love so I thought I would try one again with an array of colors.
I started with two coats of Icing's Mint Icing, a pale green metallic polish with a slight smattering of silver glitter. It looked so much more silver on the nail. Then I used the lace with bows accent stamp from plate m71 with special white konad on my pointer, Orly Fancy Fuchsia on my middle and Sinful Black on Black for my ring finger. I then used these same polishes on the opposite nails for the reindeer and snowflake from hbnails plate 012.
Lastly, I used striping tape to create the pink diamonds on my pinkie and thumb nail adding the white with a stripping polish. Do you ever finish a mani and say YES - this is what I was going for!? =D
I love this, the detail is amazing.
