Of course I had to celebrate St. Patrick's day with a couple green manis! This is the first one. I used a BC and two coats of China Glaze Starboard. This is different than any other green I already own, not sure if I liked it on me or not...I then stamped with plate m73 and China Glaze Midnight Kisses and free-handed some gold shamrocks with Sally Hansen nail art pen in gold.
I had a hard time working with this, it didn't seem to flow very well. I may have to try letting the base dry longer next time. I topped everything off with a coat of China Glaze Fast Forward. It seems like a lot of the blogging world rocked a green mani on Thursday, did you?

ReplyDeleteSadly I didn't rock any manicure this past week! I had to give my nails a break.
ReplyDeleteI have had nothing but grief from SH Nail Art pens. Have you tried many others?
I do dig that green. It reminds me of Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Going Green from your pics.
Thanks for sharing, yo. Hope you had a great patty's day.
Sarah ~ Thanks luv! I had to rock the green for a few days, it's a pretty color just not sure if it goes with my skintone
ReplyDeletePeach ~ I <3 how everyone is so festive
Thanks much Lacquer, Chell!
JQ ~ That's good you're nursing them back to health, the pink pen stained my table bc all the polish dropped out so no, I haven't had much luck either. I indulged in a few Irish Car Bombs, hope yours was great too!
