POTW - Sun Kissed + In The Spotlight

Good afternoon fine followers and friends! Sorry I haven't been posting much this week. I was hanging on to the Sweet Nothings/Hidden Treasure combo! I'm sorry if you thing feeties are gross but mine were in need of some TLC and definitely a new pedi. I had been eyeing my new Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear In the Spotlight for weeks. With Polish Hoarder Disorder and Babbling Brooke's challenges coming to a close I just couldn't squeeze it in so the top of the tootsies it will live for now. I started with two coats of SH Sun Kissed which is a bright neon cream orange - I forgot to take pictures alone :(.

SH In the Spotlight is gorgeous slivers of multi-dimensional silver glitter in a clear base. There's hues of red, blue and purple. Both shots are indoor with flash. The second photo is blurry but you can see the dimensions of the glitter.

I love this glitter but it is difficult to get it spread out evenly. I also think the shape of the glitter would make it challenging to match with stamping or other nail art. I didn't use a BC or TC. Do you use either on your pedis? Do you have unique shaped glitters, if so how do you use them?

  1. Very cute pedi. I love that orange on you. I do use bc and tc on my toes as much as I hate to do it. I really stink at painting my toes I am not the flexible type, but it's worth it took keep the polish on longer.

  2. Thanks so much, I love the sparkle factor! I'm not flexible either there was a bit of cleanup after I saw the photos *blushes*.

  3. Here's a trick for those unable to reach toes easily. Paint them in the bathroom. Sit on the toilet with feet resting on the tub. (That's assuming the tub and toilet are near proximity for each other.

  4. I have both of these polishes, so I may have to try this combination! I do use base and top coats on my toenails because I don't paint them as often as my fingernails, but I hate to do it because I absolutely stink at painting my toenails. By the time I'm done, I sometimes wish I didn't have any toenails at all! ;)
