In celebration of our Day o' Independence I wanted to do a red, white and blue. I started with three coats of Sally Hansen's HD in Laser. I really like this polish by itself to begin with. It's a dark blue with purple and blue shimmer. I then wanted to try a V-french tip with my new China Glaze Ruby Pumps. Some nails turned out better than others. The mix of red glitter on top of the blue made a slight purple from far away at first. There were some bald spots so I did two coats of the red and it looked a bit more red.

I wasn't sure how I wanted to incorporate white and then remembered I had some old nail art white flower decals and added them to my index fingers and thumbs. I really like how it turned out for my first attempt at V-style french tips.

First shot is indoors with a flash. Second is outdoors in direct sunlight. Super sparkly!

Very pretty! I love Laser it's my favorite of the new HDs
